Organizing for Change
In addition to providing structured workshops and training events, Crossroads works extensively with institutions on creating and implementing long-range, strategic antiracism planning. This ranges from acting as a consultant to support the institutional leadership as they evaluate their policies, procedures and structures of accountability; to facilitating the building of institutional antiracism teams working to develop short- and long-range strategies for undoing racism within their institution’s structures. An important component under girding our work is recognizing how racism intersects with sexism, homophobia, classism and militarism.
Here’s where you’ll find:
- an introductionto our work,
- detailed descriptions of Crossroads antiracism trainings and workshops,
- information on Anti-Bias/Anti-Racism Education principles and practices, and
- have questions answered about why we believe in the work of and train antiracism teamsto organize for change.
