• Presentations such as the Internalization of Racism and Racial Identity Development, the Spirituality of Antiracism, How Race Intersects with Other Oppressions, and the History of Institutional Racism in the U.S. are available.

• Consultations are tailored to each institution’s unique needs. We are able to provide internal audits, short- and long-range strategic planning, and develop tools to implement justice-based policies and practices.

Trainings & Workshops

Critical Cultural Competency

Designed to clarify how socially constructed groups shape all people, participants will reflect on their own shaping, learn how power dynamics in society impact them, develop skills to interrupt inequitable practices that limit access and exclude some people, and learn to make decisions based on multiple perspectives where all people are represented.

Introduction to Antiracism

For people familiar with diversity and multiculturalism but not the concept of institutional/systemic racism, this provides a deeper understanding and introduces the work of antiracism.

Analyzing & Understanding Systemic Racism

Participants build a common definition of racism; explore the historic development of racism; investigate individual, institutional and cultural manifestations of racism; and are introduced to a strategic methodology for dismantling racism. Antiracism Team Formation

For institutions that recognize patterns of oppression and the need for systemic change, this training creates and equips teams to organize internally to dismantle racism and build antiracist/anti-oppressive policies, practices and procedures.

Developing Anti-Bias/AntiRacist Identities in Children & Youth

Emphasizes the development of prejudice and bias in children. Gain insight into developing age appropriate ways to support children; and learn how the psychological and emotional health of children is affected by oppressive socialization and what that means for your organizing.
