Debra M. Russell
National Program Director
Debra Russell has been a member of the Crossroads staff since September 1998 and has held several positions with the organization. Currently National Program Manager, Debra is involved in both the programmatic and administrative areas at Crossroads. Recently, she joined the team responsible for developing new trainers. Debra has been a member of the Leadership Team for Chicago Regional Organizing for Antiracism (Chicago ROAR) and the Metropolitan Chicago Synod’s Antiracism Team. A native of Chicago, Debra and her life partner of more than 35 years have three adult children and a grandson. When not engaged in Crossroads’ mission to restore all of creation, she volunteers with local youth programs. Debra continues to dream about getting involved in community theater, filming documentaries, and creating a stand-up comedy act, but would be satisfied to read the stack of books near her bedside, weed her garden, and finish a quilt.
