Nana Adwoa Ofori (she/her/hers) is a Marketing and Project Specialist at Crossroads. She is passionate about social justice and combatting inequality by creating lasting systemic change. Being raised in the pan-African tradition, Nana Adwoa is also passionate about the relationship between Ghana and the diaspora and encourages black people to explore the continent and connect with their ancestral heritage. She attended the University of Virginia and received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Webster University in St Louis, MO. Nana Adwoa has extensive experience in the non-profit space, winning two grants during her time at the University of Virginia to pilot a civic engagement workshop in Accra, Ghana. She was also instrumental in the creation of one of the first non-profit finance and technology –based talent accelerators for women in Ghana. In addition, she has a background in social media management, having managed the online presence of a sustainable handbag brand based out of Nigeria. Nana Adwoa is a Ghanaian-American native who loves to travel and experience new cultures through food. She is also a semi-voracious reader, an anime nerd and she enjoys binge watching Animal Planet.
